We love seeing a client's face light up when they first walk into our Palladian Reception Room with the huge arched windows facing north and east. So, that's an important factor: the way you feel when you first walk in. Our Palladian Room is circled with rich details: our huge oak paneled and stained glass bar with three arched mirrors the same shape as the Palladian windows across the room, and that alternates with stained glass and mirror panels like the bar. Plus our stereo system, grand piano, cushioned window seats, and coat room.

sights and savings on sundays and daytimes at manhattan penthouse
There are tremendous advantages to booking a daytime event such as a lunch reception for a wedding, a graduation, or a corporate event. Daytimes are used less then evenings for events, therefore rates are lower. But at Manhattan Penthouse, the views are glorious during the day: more colors, more iconic buildings, more sweeping panoramas. It just feels good to be up in the air with the city spread around you. And our white and silver loft-like decor seems almost other worldly in the daytime.

New Wedding Trends in Decor
As Millennials get married, certain venue characteristics have become important. Windows and Views are important, as couples are proud of their city and enjoy sharing it visually in their receptions. Our Palladian windows look out in every directions at vast panoramas of iconic real estate.

The Teachers’ Center and the Beginning
I taught high school chemistry, biology, and physics for eight years. Inspired by a course at Columbia Teachers’ College on Piaget, I conducted workshops during the summer on how elementary school teachers could engage students more with simple classroom science materials.
