Manhattan Penthouse, one of the most extraordinary and unique Corporate Event Venues in Manhattan, is an 8000 square foot penthouse located on iconic Fifth Avenue at 14th Street one block west of the Union Square transportation and hotel hub. And the 6th and 7th Avenue subway stops are only one and two blocks west.
Therefore, Manhattan Penthouse has important accessibility and is a perfect event space for up to 200 guests, one of the top corporate event venues in Manhattan. It's also a great corporate meeting space because of its size, decor, and accessible location.
Only a full floor penthouse can have such multidimensional views, which include the Empire State Building and Times Square north, Zeckendorf Tower and Con Edison east, World Trade Center and Wall Street South, and Jersey City Skyscrapers Southwest.
These views are framed by our huge arched Palladian windows. Giant arched Palladian window frames magically transform iconic landscape views into three dimensional works of cubist art.
Executive chef Noga Andriani, born in Corsica, classically trained in Nice, and former teaching chef at the French Culinary Institute, has evolved our menu into a unique collection of eclectic offerings that include traditional favorites and new modern dishes with the bright flavors and artistic looks of today that have earned top reviews.
Guests are served an exciting parade of hors e'oeuvre and courses, and our top cuisine and fine service by a wonderful staff, surrounded by city views, add up to a fine dining experience. We think we excel in delivering a perfect main course plate to a large group, where this course is often skimped with short cuts.

SUPPORTING MANY KINDS OF EVENTS
This loft-like space is flexible for an array of business and dining event set-ups. Full catering and AV equipment is on hand for food service and presentations. We have basic AV, cusomized lighting, and good presentation setups, but our corporate clients can bring in advanced technology. Delivery to our service entrance and freight elevator next to our main entrance is simple and easy. No loading docks; just pull up and bring it in.
KINDS OF EVENTS
Manhattan Penthouse is the perfect corporate event venue for dinners, breakfasts, lunches, galas and holiday parties, speakers’ panels, industry expos, corporate workshops, seminars, and conferences. We have catered press breakfasts for presidential candidates and for firms like Sony. In December and January we cater holiday related parties mainly with cocktail buffets with lots of hors d'oeuvre and food stations. Easy access to the Manhattan Penthouse location helps with events of all kinds. A daytime breakfast and lunch event can lead into an evening cocktail reception. We cater four lunches a year, each with 5 courses, for 40 guests representing the same financial business. We make up our menu choices each time. We cater four vegan/vegetarian dinners for a social club each year when we make up the menu.
Arriving at our Reception Room, guests are greeted by giant arched Palladian windows with stunning views east and north. A large custom oak, stained glass and mirrored bar on the west wall holds sway and is echoed design-wise by stained glass and mirrored panels around the room between the Palladian windows. Cushioned window seats and herringbone floors complete a handsome "I'd like to live here" look. In a leading article on twelve top venues in New York City, Kim Forrest wrote, "We love how the loft-like event space combines historic elegance with a modern loft feel." Our design palette of white, silver and oak is modern, light and airy, providing a unique choice for your consideration.

Doorways on either side of the large oak bar lead from the Palladian Reception Room to the Compass Ballroom where up to 200 guests can be seated, with or without a dance floor. The doorways unite the two spaces for easy movement between. Ballroom views south of the World Trade Center and Wall Street and to the north of the Empire State Building and Times Square bracket the dining experience. Cocktail receptions and fine dining are surrounded by a veritable cyclorama of Manhattan.
Small and Large Daytime Events
Manhattan Penthouse accommodates small and large events in the daytime that often include various approaches to breakfasts and lunches, sometimes with a welcome cocktail reception at the end of a working day.
Smaller Event at two smaller sister venues
Manhattan Penthouse has two new, remarkable sister venues for 15 to 75 guests, Alger House and Sassy. These smaller, low priced venues could be perfect for a retirement celebration, department get-together, staff workshop, smaller fund-raisers, smaller press parties. Manhattan Penthouse has basic AV, stereo, Wi-Fi, podium and furniture equipment for presentations, and allows corporations to contribute their own more specialized resources. There are photos of presentation setups in our corporate slide show.
As a prominent NYC corporate event venue, Manhattan Penthouse is a flexible space, equipped with the amenities needed for a top corporate or nonprofit event.
The Lounge, which features comfortable seating and a bright Palladian window in its 400-square-foot space, is perfect to use as a press room for interviews or as a green room for presenters.
Audiovisual Equipment includes Lucite podium, wired and wireless microphones, Wi-Fi, iPod connections, stereo system, large tripod screen and projector, and telephone lines. Electricity is 400 amps with mostly 15- and 20-amp circuits, but additional power can be arranged. Many excellent presentation arrangements can be accomplished.
Lighting includes inside and outside lighting of Manhattan Penthouse’s beautiful arched windows. Multiple pin spots highlight important areas, table centers, and buffets. Stained glass, chandelier lighting, and wall washes add richness to the venue.
Music amenities include a classic Baldwin grand piano, stereo systems, and iPod connections. There is ample space for DJ’s and bands.
Powder rooms include multiple fixtures in two ladies’ rooms and a men’s room, and wheelchair accessibility if present.
Catering equipment includes silver chafers and service pieces, Kings Shell silverware, fine china and crystal. Round tables with linens and silver ballroom chairs with pillow cushions are supplied. Table types, linens, and other details can be customized.
Décor includes a large, custom bar with modern design stained glass and mirror panels, the burnished steel Palladian windows, and the stained glass and mirror panels between the windows that replicate the bar design. Cushioned window seats, illuminated ficus trees, beautiful oak herringbone floors, and arched mirrors add to a space that is handsome, low-key and non-commercial.
Elevators include three passenger elevators and a freight elevator. Loading to the freight elevator is easily accessed from Fifth Avenue. Most events at Manhattan Penthouse take place in the evening or weekend when the building is mostly empty.
Parking with our partner garage is nearby at 7 East 14th Street. A parking ticket stamped by the coat check results in half price.
Manhattan Penthouse’s 8000-square-foot, full-floor penthouse boasts the 4000-square-foot Compass Ballroom, the 2500-square-foot Palladian Room, and a 400-square-foot lounge. These can be configured for a wide range of guests, seating plans, and catering strategies, with seated dinners and dancing for up to 200 guests.

Manhattan Penthouse executives can quote a price range based on several event details. Prices are lower during the winter and summer because of demand.
What catering services does Manhattan Penthouse offer?
Manhattan Penthouse produces a wide range of catering strategies, including multiple approaches to breakfasts, buffets and sit-down lunches and dinners, cocktail receptions, cocktail buffets, and memorial services––all complete with equipment and staffing.
Manhattan Penthouse also caters around town, and its catering company, Mansions Catering, got its name by helping to open catering possibilities for clients years ago in the mansions and townhouses on the Upper Eastside.
What are Manhattan Penthouse’s bar services?
Manhattan Penthouse provides an unlimited, premium bar plus dinner wines for most events. Occasionally, Manhattan Penthouse will allow wine or liquor contributions by non-profit clients. Clients may upgrade liquors or wines by requesting a customized menu based on the client’s favored wine-types or regions.
How do I get to Manhattan Penthouse?
Manhattan Penthouse has the most convenient traveling arrangements of any corporate event venue in Manhattan. Because of its location at 14th Street, guests can arrive one block east at Union Square on the N, Q, R, W, L, 4, 5 and 6 trains. Alternately, they can arrive a block or two west on the 1, F, E, and M trains and the Path from New Jersey. Numerous buses run down Fifth Avenue or across 14th Street. Travel by traditional car service, taxi, Lyft, or Uber is easily arranged. Discounted parking is available nearby at Imperial Garage at 7 East 14th Street. Have the parking ticket stamped by the coat check for half price.
Is Manhattan Penthouse wheelchair accessible?
Three passenger elevators and one freight elevator travel up to Manhattan Penthouse, and one of the three powder rooms is wheelchair accessible. For wheelchair accessibility, our staff will accommodate any mobility needs.
Since most of the events at Manhattan Penthouse occur at night after work or during the weekend, when the building is not used nearly as much as during the week, the three elevators do a good job of ferrying guests to the 17th floor for our brand of hospitality.
Helmed by Executive Chef Noga Andriani, a classically trained French Chef with over 25 years of experience, Manhattan Penthouse prides itself on its eclectic, innovative menus, which incorporate modern culinary trends as well as traditional French preparations. Manhattan Penthouse welcomes personal recipes and suggestions from clients.
Where to begin? Everything from the food, to the views, to the service was perfect. This is an incredible New York venue with stunning views of the city. Monika was our coordinator. I can't recommend it enough!
