Location and Flexibility
Manhattan Penthouse, one of the truly extraordinary Corporate Event Venues in Manhattan, lying far above iconic 5th Avenue just off the Union Square hub, is a handsome 8000 square foot space at the top of a Beaux Arts tower looking out over Manhattan in every direction. This loft-like space is flexible for an array of business and dining set-ups, and we have a lot of equipment on hand to produce many kinds of events, although some of our corporate clients bring in masterful displays of stunning equipment, furnishings and lighting. Easy freight access and staff to help are available 24 hours.
Manhattan Penthouse is the perfect corporate event venue for dinners, lunches, galas and holiday parties, speakers’ panels, industry expos, corporate health and wellness workshops, seminars, conferences, and even a presidential candidate press breakfast.
Sweeping Manhattan views are made more extravagant by being framed by huge arched Palladian windows, each one a kaleidoscope of the city. Nighttime events are adorned by a necklace of illuminations around the city, but daytime events provide incredible cubist panoramas powerfully illuminated by the rising or late afternoon sun.
A lower midtown location at 14th Street just off Union Square makes Manhattan Penthouse extremely accessible to transportation and hotels. And our freight entrance, elevator, and helpful staff are available 24/7.
The moment guests walk into the Palladian Reception Room, they are struck with colossal views and elegant décor––a striking combination of traditional and modern features. Inside those views are one or two bars and some of the finest catered food anywhere.
A large oak, mirror and stained glass peneled bar is echoed around the rooom by similar modern panels between the Palladian windows. At night city lights are a dazzling necklace of illuminations.
Doorways on either side of the large oak bar lead from the Palladian Room to the Compass Ballroom where up to 200 guests can be seated, with or without a dance floor. The doorways unite the two spaces for easy movement between. Ballroom views south of the World Trade Center and Wall Street and to the north of the Empire State Building and Times Square bracket the dining experience. Thus, cocktail receptions and fine dining are surrounded by a veritable cyclorama of Manhattan.
Small and Large Daytime Events
Manhattan Penthouse accommodates small and large events in the daytime that often include various approaches to breakfasts and lunches, sometimes with a welcome cocktail reception at the end of a working day.
Manhattan Penthouse serves the finest cuisine, and the combination of fine cusine and our professional services surrounded by panoramic views provides a very fine dining experience.
Smaller Event at two smaller sister venues
Manhattan Penthouse has two new, remarkable sister venues for 15 to 75 guests, Alger House and Sassy. These smaller, low priced venues could be perfect for a retirement celebration, department get-together, staff workshop, smaller fund-raisers, smaller press parties. Keep them in mind for your own personal or family get-togethers: birthdays, showers, rehearsal dinners, brunches for friends, etc. See www.algerhouse.com and www.28sassy.com.
Manhattan Penthouse has basic AV, stereo, Wi-Fi, podium and furniture equipment for presentations, and allows corporations to contribute their own more specialized resources/

Electricity is 400 amps with mostly 15- and 20-amp circuits, but additional power can be arranged. Many excellent presentation arrangements can be accomplished.
Lighting includes inside and outside lighting of Manhattan Penthouse’s beautiful arched windows. Multiple pin spots highlight important areas, table centers, and buffets. Stained glass, chandelier lighting, and wall washes add richness to the venue.

Cushioned window seats, illuminated ficus trees, beautiful oak herringbone floors, and arched mirrors add to a space that is handsome, low-key and non-commercial.
Elevators include three passenger elevators and a freight elevator. Loading to the freight elevator is easily accessed from Fifth Avenue. Most events at Manhattan Penthouse take place in the evening or weekend when the building is mostly empty.
